The Analysis Module enables the user to record chemical analysis of process solutions, calculate, create and printout addition requirements.
Process Solution Analysis Results & Chemical Additions
To record analysis results for a process solution, first the tank and process solution needs to exist on the database. The analysis module in Dataplate is designed to record in house chemical analysis or results returned from solution samples taken for analysis by the chemical supplier reps etc. To enter a result for an analysis, select the tank from the drop down list, and type the results into the results column.
Chemical Addition Calculations
Dataplate is able to calculate the additions required in litres or kgs of the chemical, based on the volume and the chemical make up range recorded when creating the tank record. When all analysis results are complete, click the Chemical Additions tab shown below. Where analysis results are present and are below the lower limit Dataplate will calculate the optimum addition for that chemical and display it in the ‘Addition’ column. The user is able to edit the additions if required.
